12 Nov Don’t leave it to chance! Get ready for the IBTM Barcelona 2018.
Between November 27th and 29th Barcelona will host the IBTM WORLD fair. This is the most important annual event for the MICE sector and of course, Intracon Spain will be exhibiting there.
The fair, which will take place in Fira Gran Via and had more than 15,000 participants in the 2017 edition. It aims to gather professionals from around the world for 3 days to share the latest news and services in the organization of events, incentive trips, team building, roadshows, congresses, product launches, … and build connections between different agencies in the sector.
Participating in IBTM WORLD allows companies to obtain huge brand exposure, generating in turn new business opportunities. The first is the young entrepreneur Charlotte Pearce, CEO and founder of Inkpact, a successful platform with 3 that offers written marketing services on paper. The talk is called Humans of Business -why connection matters? And it will address the issue of human communication in business from the point of view of a 26 year old millennial, explaining her experience as a woman and young technological entrepreneur. She discusses how large companies must innovate to communicate with an increasingly modern target audience.
The second is Duncan Wardle, former vice president of the Department of Innovation & Creativity at Walt Disney Company, one of the most creative companies in the world and where he worked for more than 25 years. In his lecture he will develop the Think Different concept, providing the example of how Disney went from product-centered strategy to consumer-centered strategy and proposed creativity and innovation as a method to face challenges and revolutionize any business.
The third speaker is Dex Torricke-Barton, a communications guru who has worked for the most influential Silicon Valley companies such as Google, Facebook and SpaceX. His talk is a guide to understanding the technological trends that will be key 10 or 20 years from now, in an attempt to predict how they will affect different business models.
